Find and share the mobile app QR code
Staff join the mobile app by scanning a QR code unique to your organization. This article explains where that code lives and how to get it to your team.
What the QR code does
Section titled “What the QR code does”Each organization (tenant) has its own mobile QR code. Scanning it sets up the app with your organization’s details and takes the user to sign in, with no company name or URL to type. It’s the quickest way to onboard frontline staff.
The code is tied to your organization, not to an individual, so the same code works for everyone on your team. Users still sign in with their own account after scanning, and only see what their permissions allow.
Find the QR code
Section titled “Find the QR code”Your organization’s mobile QR code is provided through Hello Customer. If you’re not sure where to find it, contact your Hello Customer representative, who can point you to the current code for your organization.
Share it with your team
Section titled “Share it with your team”Pick whatever reaches your staff best:
- Print it and post it where frontline staff can scan it (break room, back office).
- Include it in an onboarding email or internal wiki page.
- Show it on screen for staff to scan on the spot.
Ask staff to scan it with their phone’s camera app or the in-app scanner, then sign in with their work account.
ℹ️ If a user reports “QR code recognized but organization not found”, make sure they’re using the current code — see QR scanning and camera problems.
