Highlight important feedback

Highlight responses so they stand out, for you and for colleagues who can see the same feedback.

The action buttons under a card, including the Highlight button

On a feedback card or an open survey response, tap the Highlight (star) button. Tap it again to remove the highlight.

When at least one person has highlighted a response, the button shows the total instead of the word “Highlight”, for example 3 highlighted. This count includes your own highlight plus anyone else’s on your team.

💡 The star itself shows your highlight — tapping again removes only your own. The number is the team total: it reflects everyone who has highlighted that response, so a count higher than your own contribution is normal.

The button’s appearance depends on whether your organization has the Close the Loop add-on:

  • Without Close the Loop: the button is labelled Highlight (or [n] highlighted when there are highlights).
  • With Close the Loop: highlighting is a separate star icon button instead of a labelled one. Tapping it does the same thing, and the highlight count appears as a small number badge on the star’s corner (it caps at 99+).

When your phone is sideways (landscape), the card’s action buttons shrink to icons and the same number badge shows the count on the star.

ℹ️ Don’t see a Close the Loop reply option? That add-on isn’t enabled for your organization. Highlighting works either way.
